Well as we were organising for our college bowling competition this year we had some pretty good things to look after .... this post maybe for the few who wish to the manage things at a college fest ( well not completely) . Well as the dates for the beginning of the fest approaches we have pretty serious things to look after as in who gets what to do n shit
So it was me n my friend Rahul who had to goto speak to the manager of the bowling arcade . As it appeared from the talks of the manager we got a hint of how serious he seems about his work .
Rahul : Hmm ... I hope on getting a quotation of around Rs.100 for each frame
Manager : Well the price I offered to you ..... *tap tap tap ( goes his keyboard )* is 15 % less than the last years price . I think this is the best deal I can offer you .
Rahul : But we are a non profit making organisation sir , we are running the competition to involve people from various college
Manager : *tap tap tap* OK !Rs. 105 it is then not a penny less not more . *tap tap tap* Actually this price is 30 % less than the price I offer during normal times .
Rahul : We gladly to accept your offer sir ! Thank you
Moral of the Story: If you ever get talking to a manager of some organisation it is better to get your statistics right and best to carry your calculator along with you :P
